Mark Grindley   Mark E. Grindley  Chief Technical Officer, Cambodia, Myanmar and Thailand

Has worked in conservation for over 15 years, briefly in Africa and in Asia since 1999, where he has focused on Indochina. Mark’s interests include community involvement in conservation, protected area management, land use planning, and related policy development. He has been involved with PRCF since 2001, and been a full time employee since 2008. Mark is a native English speaker with conversational French and Vietnamese. He also speaks some Thai and Khmer.

Is a conservationist and restoration ecologist with PRCF since 2009. His expertise: community-based land and forest management, conservation of globally Endangered/Critically Endangered flora and fauna, protected area management and planning, livelihood development including use of NTFPs, and habitat forest restoration. Mike is now interested in community-based biodiversity conservation and the use of innovative sustainable financing approaches.

Marcelino Dalmacio   Marcelino Dalmacio

Senior Country Manager, Philippines

“Mar” is a specialist in agroforestry, protected area management and biodiversity conservation, forest land-use planning, silviculture and watershed management, to name a few. He has managed projects for the UNDP-GEF, USAID, the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank and FAO throughout South-east Asia. Dr. Dalmacio is fluent in his native Filipino and in English, and able in 6 other languages and dialects.

 
Imanul Huda   Imanul Huda

Country Manager, Indonesia

The forever smiling “Pak Im” has been with PRCF in Indonesia since its inception. He has managed the Indonesia Country Program since 2000, previously as its Executive Director. Pak Im has extensive, applied experience in forestry management and wildlife conservation throughout West Kalimantan. His thesis focused on the conservation of critically endangered sea turtle species in the area, a program he will initiate within the PRCF in 2012.

Simi Bhagwandass   Simi BhagwandassProgram Development Officer

Through her previous work with Oxfam-Quebec and Enda Maghreb, Simi has developed her interests in sustainable livelihoods, women’s empowerment, small business development and the wise use of natural resources. Once a Marketing and Handicraft Advisor for PRCF Indonesia, Simi now contributes her background in Business Admin to PRCF’s image promotion and fundraising efforts. 

 
  Julie Cao

Corporate and Governance Officer

A strong advocate of wildlife conservation, Julie previously volunteered with PRCF in Vietnam. Her interests include raising awareness about the importance of species conservation at a local and international level. With an MA in Non-profit Management, Julie manages a small home office for PRCF in her native California.

Through her previous work for organizations such as Oxfam and Enda Maghreb, Simi has developed her interests in sustainable livelihoods, women’s empowerment, small business development and the wise use of natural resources.
Once a volunteer for PRCF in Indonesia, Simi now contributes her background in Business Administration to the PRCF’s public outreach and internal management efforts.
  Richard WarnemindeCorporate Management Advisor

Worked for 18 years in computers as a programmer, project manager and line manager in Australia, England, France and Switzerland; then 20 years as a management consultant specializing in change management and culture development. Richard worked mainly with senior management of multinational companies. He likes to travel and live in different countries, currently residing in Vietnam. He became more aware of conservation issues because of the passion of his daughter.

 
  Brenda Mattick

Communications Officer – VIDA Volunteer

 Brenda has a background in information design, plain English writing and editing, communication and media production. She has worked as lecturer, editor, freelance journalist, consultant and trainer in Australia and the Pacific. Her placement, through the Australian Volunteers for International Development Program, combines her communications skills with her passion for the environment and sustainable development.

  Arnoud Steeman

Strategic Conservation Planning Associate

Arnoud has 20 years experience in conservation and development, with roots in environmental action, campaigning, and education. He has worked on a wide range of projects as technical consultant and as project manager, and has experience with various donor organisations (EU, WB, KfW, SIDA, CARE). A Dutch native speaker, Arnoud can work in English, German, French and Bahasa Indonesian, and has basic Vietnamese language capacity. Arnoud joined PRCF in 2011.
